Customizable reports is limited to Pro. It looks like you can dump windows to CSV, XLSX, etc. in Lite, so that may be an option to make your own custom report.

You can randomize other effects where it makes sense.  E.g. if you type “multi-color dahlia” you will get multiple colors.  I read your request as wanting to pick a single color strobing tail from yellow/red/green, which feels like a different use case.

The puzzle here is that King Dragon (and many other 1.75″ consumer shells) are not remotely random and often they have labeled effects on both the shells and the box.  I typically load a separate item number into my effects for each shell so I can track my inventory of each. Same interest from me. I think a good option here may be for us to use a shared google doc (sheet), but before I make and publish something, I’d like Drew to give us a thumbs up that he’s ok with that.

DrewFinale – another thing that I can’t explain is that even when I manually assign racks in the script window, if I select Racks > Select racks missing rack assignments, it selects everything in my script.  Is this feature limited to Pro licenses?

76ProLinePeter – not sure if you’re looking for feedback on other cakes that need work, but I often was running into placeholder looking cakes in the spirit of 76 library.

Examples:

1) Cherry Bomber

2) Bling Bling

3) Spring Bouquet (GM693)

Is the goal to get these all built out more realistically?

For what it’s worth, I entirely missed this recommendation and did everything with CSV and it worked fine.  commas are appropriately escaped and recognized by finale3D in my testing.  Now I’m wondering what might hypothetically break! 🙂
