    Good evening all,

I am trying to use a Dymo 550 printer for my labels, but Finale out puts in PDF and does not seem to want to print the labels. I just get it push one blank label out then nothing. The only I have found to get it to print is using the Dymo software and print as image. The down side to this you have to select each label in turn one at a time. This is not going to work for me.
I am using a new Mac book pro

    anyone else using a Dymo 550 ?

    Hi,

i don’t have a Dymo 550 label printer, but i use a simular one from Brother. In the software there is the possibility to import a csv file and then design labels baed on the fields in the csv on your own. If the software has this functionality you can just export the finale script as csv and import it in the software . Than it should be easy to design and print the labels.

    hope that helps

It does import CSV files, but seems not to like the ones from Finale.

    Thanks anyway

    Hi Ultimate Fireworks,

were you able to solve the problem ?  What is happening when you open the generated pdf file in acrobat and print from this program directly to the printer ?

    Does that work ?

    Regards

    Dirk

I have not been able to get the demo to print from the PDF at all,  the only way I have found is to screen shot each label and then print each one as a picture.

When I try the PDF I just get a blank label and then the printer hands.
