    Hello, does anyone have problem opening Finale 3D? I used to be able to open it but now nothing happens when i click on it. Tried installing and uninstalling the latest version won’t work, it does run fine on the other PC we have though.

    This could be an issue with your graphics card (GPU). The info in your screenshots are very helpful but they don’t list your graphics card. Can you tell us what graphics card is in your computer? If you’re not sure, you can search for Device Manager in the Windows Start menu. Your graphics card will be listed in the Display adapters section of the Device Manager.

    I have had the same issue today! Been running fine on the same laptop up until today. Tried uninstalling and reinstalling, but it never opens. IT department said this is all they could find that was showing a sign of error.

    Hi EhlanaG, here are a couple questions to help us troubleshoot the issue:

     

    1) Did you recently update Finale 3D? If yes, does the problem go away if your install the version you were running previously?

    2) Do you know what version of Finale 3D you have installed?

    Hello!

    Sorry for the delayed reply, I thought it had fixed itself but it has stopped working again.

     

    1) I had not updated Finale when the error occurred.

    2) I was using May 2024, this doesn’t open at all. If I try Sept 24, the ‘One Minute Please’ window opens, then it goes in to ‘not responding’

     

    The graphics card is an AMD Radeon 550X.

    Something I have noted is Finale 3D is not appearing in my ‘installed programmes’. I have checked a colleague’s laptop who is able to run the latest stable but it does not appear in their programmes either.

    Hi EhlanaG, try installing the latest driver for your AMD graphics card from: https://www.amd.com/en/support/download/drivers.html

     

    It’s normal for Finale 3D not to be included in the list of installed programs, this isn’t related to the problem you are having.

    Hello,

     

    This worked momentarily, it allowed me to load the login screen but came up with an error which I assumed was my access being revoked by the company. I checked today and my access hasn’t been changed, and it’s back to ‘Not Responding’ on the ‘one minute, please’ page.
