I just purchased Finale 3D Lite yesterday, worked on a show last night, and today I can not find it; in fact, I can’t even find the screen to create a show.  When I log in to Finale 3D it opens to the page where I can “try it for free.”  I don’t know if it makes any difference but I tried it for free a couple weeks ago, and I’m wondering if it thinks I’m still a free user as opposed to a licensed user.  Anyway, very frustrating since there is no support line or chat to use, only email support which according to their site can take up to 2 days for a reply.  I really can’t wait 2 days to get access, then learn the system and get a show created for next week.  It may be something simple that I’m missing , but any help would be appreciated, thanks! – Rick

    Hi Rick,

Welcome to the Finale 3D community!

Even though we’ve also been corresponding by email today, I wanted to follow up with you here as well in case it helps others who run into the same issue.

Finale 3D is a desktop application, so the software is launched on your computer, and your show files are stored on your computer, not on the finale3d.com website. If you saved your show yesterday, then the show file should still be on your computer in whatever location you chose when you saved it. If you didn’t save your show, you can most likely recover it by following the instructions here: finale3d.com/documentation/restore-from-backup

To continue working on a previously saved show, launch the Finale 3D software on your computer. In Finale 3D, you can view a list of recently opened shows by going to: File > Recent Shows

Also, don’t worry about waiting two days for a reply. Support emails are typically answered much faster than that, especially for urgent and show-stopping issues.
