I’m on the latest BETA release and when scripting, once I insert a cue on the timeline, I cannot “snap” that cue to where my cursor is located on the timeline. Is this a bug that I found specific to the Beta release or am I seeing things?

Hi Curtis B, check File > User settings > Timeline events snap to playhead. Make sure you have that setting enabled to get the snapping.

Has that feature been removed from Lite all of a sudden? I used to be able to do it but now it doesn’t even show up as an option.

Hi Curtis B, sorry for the confusion. Snapping events/cues to the playhead is a Hobbyist/Pro feature. The user setting never existing in the Lite version. The feature was originally enabled in Lite but we got some feedback that the behavior wasn’t preferred so we decided to disable it.

That’s odd… I liked having it to help scripting a little easier. Thanks for the clarification!
