Explo X2 Wave Flamer

The X2-Wave-Flamer combines a fluid driven flame system, with moving-head-technology, in a compact device. Fitted with a motorized and swiveling head, the X2-Wave-Flamer allows for very fast and precise flame bursts of up to 10 meters in height. All in a angle of 210°.

The resultant “Flame Pictures” open a whole new slew of possibilities when creating in or outdoor shows. For easy handling, the liquid fueled projector features a bidirectional radio control, a removable 10L fuel canister, as well as an integrated display with menu and control buttons.

    Step 1:
    Configure DMX Fixtures
    Configure firing positions as DMX fixtures by right-clicking in the 3D view.

    Design
    Design the show by adding compatible DMX effects to fixtures.

    Set firing system
    Use the menu item "Addressing > Address show..." and select a firing system that supports DMX.

    Step 4:
    Export Script
    Use the menu item "Export > Export firing system script files(s)..." to generate the script file for your firing system.
DMX channels
  1. Channel 1 (DMX Channel Base + 0) -- Angle (127.5 + angle * 1.2143)
  2. Channel 2 (DMX Channel Base + 1) -- Speed (1 = min; 255 = max; 0 also = max)
  3. Channel 3 (DMX Channel Base + 2) -- Ignition (254-255 = ON)
  4. Channel 4 (DMX Channel Base + 3) -- Open time (255 = permanent, 0-254 = N*10ms)
  5. Channel 5 (DMX Channel Base + 4) -- Program (2 + program number * 255/100)
  6. Channel 6 (DMX Channel Base + 5) -- Safety channel (0-49 = OFF, 50-200 = ON, 201-255 = OFF)
Special Features
  1. Create custom, oscillating flame patterns using "move-to" effects in Finale 3D.
