Aurora Fireworks & DFLee   We have fixed the My Effects sync issue. The items in your My Effects were not impacted by the server outage in any way. You can simply restart Finale 3D and login.

Aurora Fireworks & DFLee   Yes, this is a server-side issue on our end. We’re working to get it resolved ASAP. Please don’t worry, the items in your My Effects collection are stored safely. The problem is with the sync process hosted on the server, not with the data in your My Effects collection. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Well Im glad its not just me! In the nicest possible way!   But sucks when we are trying to get ready for season!   Over 20 shows to script so fingers crossed for a quick response!   My concern is that I can go into a previous show, per show effect and add it back into my effects so my worry is all my custom catalogue may have gone!

(Resolved) Invalid Record Length: expect 35 got 32 on line 2

Hi all,   I have sent an email to support and have searched the forums but no dice.   Booted my machine up this morning it came up with the following error when logging in. Then I went to my effects and it was empty! Ive tried restoring to a previous version, reinstalling etc.   So it must be something on the server thats been saved wrong. Has any else experienced this? Any suggestions?

Reply To: Beta releases disappearing from download page?

Hi NEC, releases are rarely taken down, but it does happen occasionally. The general reason a release is pulled from the download page is that it contains a bug that creates a significant inconvenience for users or it’s simply dead-on-arrival in some way that didn’t surface during testing. In the rare instance where you find yourself running a build that is no longer listed, don’t panic. If the build was taken down because it has a serious issue that could jeopardize a show, the build is flagged in a way that prevents login. In other words, if we take down a build and flag is as being “bad”, you won’t be able to login to it.

Beta releases disappearing from download page?

I’ve seen this a few times now…a beta release will appear on ‘downloads’ and then just disappear.   I understand there may have been an issue found but it would be nice to know why it was pulled especially if it had already been downloaded and installed to check out new features/fixes

A note for anyone who comes across this forum topic in the future — support for Windows 7 and 8 officially ended as of the 2024.08.01 (August 1, 2024) release. Finale 3D now requires Windows 10 or later.
