Hey pyro61319810, welcome to the Finale 3D community and thanks for the great question! The short answer is that there really is not a marketplace for “off-the-shelf” show scripts. The main reason is because almost every fireworks show is inherently custom. A fireworks script is tightly tied to many real-world factors that change from show to show, including: • The exact products being used (brand, size, effect, timing, availability) • Firing system and equipment availability • Shoot site layout and safety distances • Safety requirements and local regulations • Music choice and timing (for pyromusicals) • Budget and product quantity limits Because of all that, a script that works perfectly for one site, one product list, and one firing system often doesn’t translate cleanly to another venue. That said, there are a couple of practical ways people usually approach this: 1) Commission a custom design If what you really want is a finished show, many designers offer custom scripting services. In that case, the script is built specifically for your products, site, firing system, and music. 2) Use Finale 3D to design and validate your own show One of the strengths of Finale 3D is that you design using the actual products you plan to use, and you can see how timing, layering, and choreography work before anything is built in the field. If you want, feel free to share what kind of show you are trying to build, and I’d be happy to help point you in the right direction or suggest a workflow to get you there faster.
Hello, My name is Stephane and I’m new to this and love every minute of it. Can’t wait to learn all I can! Located in central Canada in the Province of Manitoba.
NEC thanks for the help worked great!
This is rough and quick, can probably tweak it to be more accurate –> 30mm 13 Shot 2.93s 100 Degrees Cake (a) Long Red Strobing To Blue Horsetail w/ Gold Whirls Tail, 1 Row (aaaaaaaaaaaaa/FNR)
This is a slice I want to use that is not in finale RA142026 gold spinning tail w/red strobe and blue star. I am trying to create this effect, but can’t get the VDL to make the spinning tail. Any help would be greatly appreciated. RA142026 Raccoon Fireworks 1.4G Pro Line Slice Cake
is there any place i can buy premade show scripts?
Wow! Amazing work. Thank you!
We have been working on a new platform alongside Finale 3D that we are excited to share with the community: Finale DB. Finale DB is a free, online fireworks database built to make it easier to discover, request, and work with product and effect simulations. You can browse both consumer and professional products, watch demo videos, and search across brands, all at: 👉 finaledb.com From Finale DB, you can add effects directly to My Effects and use them in Finale 3D. If something is missing, you can request products, brands, or simulations in just a few clicks. You can also share your own simulations for products that already exist in Finale DB. When you publish a sim, it becomes immediately available for everyone to use. At the moment, sharing is limited to products that already exist in Finale DB. Soon, we will be adding full community sharing, which will allow you to publish any simulation under your own personal brand. Finale DB is live and open to everyone — check it out and let us know what you think.
Hi Jordi, The color you are seeing comes from the Fancy angle colors label formatting option. For anyone else reading along, that option applies colors automatically based on the firing angle direction (for example, green for left-aiming, black for straight up, red for right-aiming, blue for upward but turned 180°). Label formatting options like this can be adjusted in the Pro version of Finale 3D. However, at the moment it is not possible to reverse or customize the fancy angle color mapping (for example, swapping red and green based on +/- angle). The color assignments are currently fixed. This is something we have been asked about a few times before, and I’m happy to report that it is already on our development list.
Hi, How can i change the colors off the angels on labels. we want the color red when the angel is (-) and when the angel is (+) green. Now it’s the other way, when i print the labels. (see photo) Best regards, Jordi | Pyroworks
