Reply To: Fancy angle colors

Welcome to the Finale 3D forum and thanks for posting!   At this moment, Finale 3D doesn't have a feature that will allow you to adjust the shade of the color for the 'fancy angle colors' on labels. Sorry, I know this wasn't the answer you were hoping for. Adjusting the colors may be a feature we can add in the future.

And, more times than not just to make a generic drop show something I don’t have to click through in the field. I’m about 3/4 of the way through my script and it has been such a fun experience! Anyway…there is a question here… Just curious, do you share the scores of the submissions with us? I don’t necessarily care what everyone scored. But it would be awesome to know how far off I was from being in the top three. Thanks again for putting this together! Hello and thank you for participating in the competition.  In the past, once the competition has ended and I get some time, I am happy to share the judges' average score for your show with you as well as any comments the judges may have left while scoring your show.  All you have to do is shoot me an email AFTER the competition ends and be patient haha.

Reply To: Dominator Catalog Question

Hey PyroExec, the 62mm Dominator sims weren't just moved, we created a brand-new sim for each product to more closely match the manufacturer demo videos!   A 2.5" professional display shell (which is 63.5mm dia.) has a default burst height of 76m (250ft) in Finale 3D. When we created the new sims, we made an educated guess that a 1.4G 62mm shell wouldn't break as high as a comparably sized 1.3G professional display shell. This is just an educated guess. When it comes to things like burst height, diameter, etc., often the best we can do is guess because manufacturers don't provide height specifications for their products.   In response to your concern, today I reached out to Ed Vasel, the US rep. for Dominator. His instinct is that the 62mm single shot shells break almost as high as a commercial 2.5" shell. So, I've gone ahead and increased the height a bit.   When we make sims, we do our best to make them representative of the real-life products. At the same time, it's always worth taking any demo video or simulation with a grain of salt. When it comes to the real-world products, all kinds of characteristics, including height can change from one batch to the next. If you're doing a show where the height is critical, there's no substitute for real-world testing.

Fancy angle colors

Hello,   To begin, thank you to all members, all your answers in all posts of this forum help me a lot to progress ! I have one question for labels : I really like the "fancy angle colors", but... The red box is very dark, is it possible to replace this color ? I mean, green and red is perfect, but THIS red, is really too dark when I print it   '^^   Thank you !   Regards

Do you have more photos from the pyrojam montage?   There is a lot of great "behind the scenes" content in the PyroJam documentary, here's a link: https://vimeo.com/1007115809   If you're looking for photos showing a specific part of the show setup, let us know and we'll see what we can find.

Reply To: Dominator Catalog Question

Hi Drew,   I noticed the dominator 62mm single shots where moved over to to the Dominator 1.4 PRO catalog. With this update the effect height is significantly lower now on the 62mm single shots. I just want to confirm this update is correct, because this lower height changes a lot for a show I'm working on.
