For now I’ll play around building some of the key effects and when I get something close I’ll post the VDL in the forum for peer review, suggestions, and in case it helps anyone else save some time.

Not quite! The simulations are compilations of the best VDL descriptions submitted by the winning contestants with refinements made by the Finale team. Soon, we will publish a page with a break down of the VDL for each cake. Stay tuned!

I look forward to seeing the VDL’s. It’s a bit disappointing if those videos are the most accurate to the original video, for example the first row of taste the rainbow isn’t even in the right order.
Nice catch on Taste The Rainbow, I’ll get that fixed up right away. Anything else?

Yes, we recently published simulations hundreds of new Racoon and Wizard items. At this moment we are working on Fire Factory and Great Grizzly. Next we plan to make major improvements to the Spirit of 76 and Dominator catalogs.
Walker PyrotechnicsJoined: Dec 2021 Posts: 35 Location: Vicksburg, MI CharcoalMany of the cakes that were in the competition are cakes I actually use and I have not seen them in the catalog. What about common brands such as Winda (their catalog needs a TON of improvement), Brothers, World Class, Cutting Edge, and I am sure there are many more? I have never seen Fire Factory or Great Grizzly fireworks anywhere near where I live. Are you going to prioritize by most used/available? Popularity?
DrewFinaleJoined: Dec 2019 Posts: 557 Location: United States SilverHey Walker Pyrotechnics, prioritizing catalog development by most requested is exactly what we are doing. For example, the demand for Raccoon and Wizard pro line catalogs was massive, so we tackled those earlier this year.
One exception is when a catalog is developed by a manufacturer or distributor themselves. In those cases, we simply publish what we’re given which doesn’t interrupt the ongoing focus on most requested.
