Shot Count – Custom Report?

Is there a report that will summarize total shot counts in a show by size?  If not, can one be created with a custom report?  This is for the Pro version. Thank you

Reply To: I can´t see the preview

I came to the forum today hoping to find something about this — I lucked onto this thread, since I was searching for thumbnail instead of preview — but I’ve been having the same issue. In case it helps to track this down, I have noticed that the preview is actually rendering, but it appears to not be the top-most item — it’s like the black square forming the backdrop for the preview is layered “higher” than the render itself. You can see this if you click the yellow arrow to play the preview then move your mouse away as it’s rendering, there is a few milliseconds as the preview components are being hidden where you are able to see the in-progress render. I will DM a video that captures this behavior, and I will experiment with nvidia drivers — but I re-installed everything on this machine and still didn’t resolve the issue, just taking the default installs for all drivers, which I think means it will be happening for many/most people very soon if it isn’t already.

Finale 3D Competition Feedback

I’d like to once again thank everyone who placed an entry in this year’s competition.  To say the shows overall were outstanding would be an understatement.  I know several have emailed about wanting to know where they placed and/or receive feedback from the judges, but wanted to let everyone know I’m willing to do this for anyone who requests it….just be patient haha.  If you would like feedback, please email me either at timj@pyrojamusa.com or timj@ipcdisplays.com and I’ll get back to you as soon as possible.  There have been quite a few requests so far so it will probably take me some time to respond, but I assure you I will.  Again, thank you to everyone who participated.

Congratulations to the finalists and a huge THANK YOU to all who competed.  It truly was a pleasure to be able to see so many wonderful show designs even though it seemed exhausting at times haha.

PyroJam 2023 Finalists Announcement!

Announcing the three finalists for the 2023 edition of the PyroJam Finale 3D design competition!   Thank you to all 118 designers from 28 countries around the world who entered this year’s competition. The caliber and creativity of the shows was simply incredible. Also shout out to Tim Jameson, owner of IPC Displays, the mastermind behind the PyroJam music and fireworks festival.   The judges faced a nearly impossible challenge – a testament to the quality of the show entries, numerous of which are worthy of a spot in the finals. But, in the end, there can be only three, and they are…   Simulations videos (listed in order by show title):     Competition Scores & Judging Feedback Please know that the judges take their role very seriously. As members of the professional fireworks community, they know the amount of time and effort required to design shows of this caliber. The judging team collectively spent over a hundred hours to reach their verdict and it was not easy. Like any other art form, judging a firework show objectively is extremely difficult. Even with a precise scoring system, the emotional response and extent to which a show resonates will be different from person to person. Judging is also a privilege, and the judges want all competitors to know that was a privilege and an honor to see so many excellent shows.   If you would like to receive a critique on your show from the judges, you may contact Tim Jameson (timj@pyrojamusa.com). Due to the massive response, we just kindly ask that you please wait patiently for a reply. Tim promises to respond to everyone, it may just take some time. An overall ranking of all show entries is not planned for release. Doing so would not accurately reflect the quality of the shows or be in the spirit of the competition.   Thank you for being a member of the Finale 3D community, keep up the great work and see you on September 2nd at PyroJam!
