I’ve another ask concerning an error with software and I don’t know how to resolve that… Could you help me ?   I'm sorry for the inconvenience. We are currently experiencing an issue with the sync functionality. We are investigating the issue, and we will get it resolved as quickly as possible. In the meantime, I recommend skipping the sync process at startup by selecting the Login offline option, as shown in the screenshot below. This will allow you to work normally with the exception that you will not be able to make changes to My Effects. However, since you most likely don't need your My Effects collection to work on your PyroJam show, you should be okay. Any work you do on your show is saved to the show (.fin) file on your computer's local hard drive. Show files are only saved on your computer, they are not backed up or saved to our servers.

Have a nice day ! Yes, you can do an introduction without effects, just keep in mind for scoring purposes show duration is calculated as the time from the first cue marker to the last cue marker on the timeline.  Hope this answers your question.

Reply To: Importing drone shows question

We are creating drone animations using Blender at our company. Recently, we transitioned from Drone Show Software (DSS) to our own proprietary drone control system. As a result, we are no longer able to export to the VVIZ format. Is it possible to export VVIZ files directly from Blender to the VVIZ format? Or is there another recommended method to achieve this?

Hi LilyPyro, to preserve the consistency of the layout across all competitors, please don't delete any positions from the design template, even ones that are for the optional show add-ons.

Hi, When I download the positions on finale3D, it automatically shows me 360° Wheel, twin towers and positions for Liquid Fuel Mines. Should I leave it like that or can I delete the optional locations that I won't use? Thank you !

Sascha wrote: Hello again! Tim Jameson I’m just wondering why the fuel mines in the different sizes always have 1 gallon of fuel, but the larger the diameter, the higher is the price? Is that correct that every mine has the same amount of fuel? And if they all have in fact 1 gallon on fuel, what are the different results depending on the different diameters? I think there are differences in rising height, but I also think they are simulated a little bit small compared to reality?! Would be very important to calculate the right amount of fuel for the whole show 🙂 Thank you Sascha Ahh, good catch, my apologies.  The sims were accurately showing that each size had a larger effect, but I missed changing the "gallon size" for each of them when I changed the bore size in the description originally.  They are fixed now.  The 4" has 1 gallon, the 6" has 2 gallons, and the 12" has 5 gallons.  If you sync with the network now, you'll see the update. As for the sims being "small" compared to real life, you're correct.  Finale3D doesn't handle fuel mines all that well just yet (it's impressive it can even handle them at all in my opinion).  It can make them "taller" by increasing bore size but it doesn't do much to make them "bigger".  They will get there one day I'm sure :-)
