Drew,   Earlier I was trying to update the mines that were corrected recently.  When I click 'sync with network'  per show events aren't updating.  To get around that I have to add one more of that effect and then it updates the other instances in the show.  Is that normal or am I missing a setting somewhere?  Please advise. Thank you,   Patrick

I thought that was the case but wanted just to double check. Think last year I put them at the back with 3” shells 🤦‍♂️.

Just to be sure: there are only some effects that can be fired horizontally (prox) but there are also none angle restrictions for all single shots, cakes (e. g. F-1-F19) and so on. Leaving aside the issue of not hitting the trees, are there any further angle restrictions or what is the maximum allowed angle? And another just to be sure question: it says that “ground” effects can be used on the F-Positons. Does that include every effect listed in ground? Thank you very much.   • Yes, there is a special set of items that can be fired horizontally from the Prox positions. The Prox positions can accommodate horizontal firing because they are elevated. You can find these items by entering "Horizontal" in the search box in the effects window.   • Aside from common sense limits (e.g., don't shoot into the trees, don't shoot into the ground) there are no angle restrictions for single shots or cakes. The maximum allowed angle is any angle that doesn't cause the effect to fire into the trees or into the ground.   • The rules state that effects that have the Subtype of Ground can used on the F positions. There is only 1 effect with the subtype ground, and that is ground salutes. Be careful not to mix-up "Type" with Subtype".

Was about to ask about the what exactly is allowed on the towers and if was anything the was labelled as Single shot 30mm or less but i can you have updated the catalogue. Another quick one, Ground salute’s? are the placed with ground or moved back to 3″ shells ?   The Subtype for ground salutes is Ground. Items with this subtype go in the F-01 to F-19 positions. You can find this in the table in the Positions, Matching Effects & Angles section of the competition rules.

Here's a photo of the prox positions at PyroJam.

Hi Pyro_2903, we've updated the PyroJam catalog to try and eliminate confusion about which items can be used on the towers. Now, to filter to ALL items that can be used on the towers, simply enter the word Towers in the effects window search box. Similarly, if you instead opted for the 360° wheel show add-on, you can find ALL compatible items simply by entering 360 in the search box.   To find all items for the towers, search for Towers

Hi Pyro_2903, your question about the towers makes me realize that the product requirements are a little too ambiguous. I'll discuss this with Tim and follow up with you here on the forum.
