I saved and synced with the network. But while I was away for about a day, my computer restarted and when I went back to look at Available quantities, they were back to the original amounts??? Why did that happen? The only way that I can see this happening is if the sync wasn’t successful. If the sync succeeded, then your Available quantities should persist regardless of whether your computer restarts or whether it’s run over by a truck.

Hi Pyro_51170000, if your design in Finale 3D uses cues that don’t exist on your modules, those items will need to be allocated to different addresses (different cues). You can do this manually by typing in the script window or by re-addressing your show from the Address Show menu. I’m not sure which is best in your specific circumstances.

Hi Mum,   i don’t know if i understand the problem with the firing system correctly, but how about setting up the maximum number of ematches in the addressing (dialoug or blueprint). Than effects with the same ignition time are wired on the same pin in your firing system. All you have to do than, ist to wire these effects in a line !   Does that help ?     Dirk

Firetek with multiple module types

Hello all!   I have 48 cue and 64 cue modules. Last year I uploaded to both and realized that some of my 48 cue modules did not fire everything because the CSV had printed out an extra 4 cues per rail which never fired. I already have the labels printed out. Is there an easy way anyone has found to rescript and relabel without changing everything? Shows on Saturday and this year I’m only using 1 48 fx module. Hopefully by next year I have the new remote and 2 more 64 cue units.   Thanks!

Reply To: Your favorite label printer/printing method

Something I posted last year:   “If you have a manual paper tray option, use it instead of just putting your labels into the normal paper tray. With such small tolerances, label stock can quickly lose alignment when it’s picked up and rotated  by printer rollers. On my commercial laser printer, I lose my label text off the side until I pop down my manual feed tray – then everything works well!”

Hi Kevin, after you make adjustments, putting the cake back together is easy, just select the shots and go to Effects > Combine as cake…   When you recombine the cake, as long as it has the original part number and you save it in the same collection (e.g. My effects) it will go right back to where is was before you broke it apart. Once the cake is recombined, you can just close the temporary show.

Drew, once I break apart cake to make changes, what do I do then. Do I have to select all items and combine as cake to try and save it.   Kevin
