Can we put the 75mm mines on row F or must we put them with the shells ? ref : WPL75SS

Yes, WPL75SS should be used at the “Front” positions. The “Subtype” of an effect determines which positions it is compatible with. The Subtype for WPL75SS is “SS Mine”. If take a look at the Rows of firing positions, matching effects, angle restrictions table in the competition rules here, you will see the SS Mine subtype is compatible with the Front positions.

hi!  “The only file you need to submit is your saved Finale 3D (.fin) show file. There is no need to submit any other files.”  So the music is already “integrated” in the final file? Shouldn’t we also send you the used music?

Hi Marius, a Finale 3D show (.fin) file contains 100% the digital assets that have been added to the show. This includes the effects, images, models, and music. You can send a show file to any Finale 3D user anywhere in the world and the show will look and sound exactly the same on their machine as it does on yours.

Just a quick reminder to everyone that the deadline for entries is midnight, March 1, 2024 (technically 11:59 p.m. on March 1st to be clear).

Couple things to check before submitting:

    1)  Does your show include a title and theme?

    2)  Did you use the PyroJam template provided?

    3)  Is your show between 9 and 10 minutes long?

    4)  Are all of the products from the PyroJam catalog?

    5)  Is your show within the budget of $25,000?

Hello! Which Time Zone is considered to determine expiration time to upload the show?

Hello! Which Time Zone is considered to determine expiration time to upload the show?

Each competitor should try to submit according to their time zone to avoid any late entries, but officially we are using UTC-12 which is the last inhabited time zone on Earth (best I can tell any way haha)

Thank you! It is allowed to add new position groups? Or should I leave them as template project?

    thanks

If you mean the position group shortcuts that appear on the left side of the main Design window then the answer is yes, absolutely. You can also add your own camera presets on the right side of the main Design window. These are features for the user’s convenience to streamline show design.

For PyroJam, what you cannot do is add positions, remove position, move positions, rename positions, or anything else that changes the position layout.
