I will show you my method of making it easier to place fireworks in place for a show after scripting ! I use Sketchup for this, I made and collected some models for this.I could imagine a more sophisticated 3D rack model that could be incorporated into software or a separate software. This is my mini project and they responded positively to the Cobra forum ! :) Attached some picture.. https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1rFq204p-lOeEldcVM5EUBNeZhxwwxa57?usp=sharing

You can always run it locally on your machine. What caliber do you have in stock?

Hi Pyro_44000000, great question.   Pyro_71170000 (designer of "Carry On") and Pyro_38150000 (designer of "Force of Nature"), what do you say? Would you be willing to help out a fellow pyro by sharing your show (.fin) files?

I am a backyard guy new to pyro musicals. I am trying to learn best practices for scripting a show. I was very impressed with the design of two of the shows in PyroJam and would like to learn the details of how the shows were choreographed by looking over the script. This would allow me to understand devices, angles, timing, etc that produce the specular effects that I would love to learn all about. If anyone can help me with the opportunity to obtain a copy of the scripts I would really appreciate it.   All the shows were really impressive but the two shows I was most interested in were:   Timo Luttmann & Daniel Schaffler " Carry On" Vinci Fireworks " Force of Nature"   Thanks for assistance.

Reply To: Finale3D LITE version

Hi Rovira, to see a detailed feature comparison for all Finale 3D versions, visit: https://finale3d.com/store/#feature-comparison   Pro is the only version that renders 4K videos. Hobbyist is limited to 720p and Lite does not render videos.

Finale3D LITE version

Finally there is  a more afforfable version of finale for those who are not pro and only use the program as a game. I would like to know which are the differences  between the hobbyist and the lite version. Can I still make videos? This week i will download the trial version and share my opinions here. If the main features are available on the lite version (4K video, unlimited effects and positions, music editon and some other)   i will probably buy it.

Reply To: Creating A Shell Or Chain That Is Fused With Visco

No problem! First, let's assume the lift time for your shells from launch to burst is 2 seconds. Now we'll add in the 6 seconds of visco burn time which gives you a total prefire time of 8 seconds. Now it's just a matter of writing the VDL like this, 1.75" 8.00 PFT 6 DLY 2 LFT Red Peony Chain   8 PFT = 8 second prefire time 6 DLY = 6 second (visco) delay before launch 2 LFT = 2 second lift time for the shell 2 LFT + 6 DLY = 8 PFT   In a standard case, there is no visco so you can just use PFT alone. But in this case, the prefire is not just the rising time, it also includes the visco delay. So you enter the total PFT and use DLY and LFT to specify how the time is split between the visco burn time and the rising time (i.e. lift time).
