Reply To: Importing drone shows question

Hi OKUDA YOHEI, great question!   Blender does not have a built-in option for exporting a drone animation to the VVIZ file format. I’m also not aware of a Blender plugin that is publicly available for exporting to VVIZ.   However, there are some companies who have developed their own internal Blender VVIZ export capabilities. This means that it is possible, and you could hire a programmer to develop this capability for your company. For a skilled programmer, I don’t think is a very difficult or time-consuming project. The reason I don’t think it’s very complicated is because I have seen some companies develop VVIZ export in as little as one or two days!   Below is a link to the specifications for the VVIZ file format. If you hire a programmer to develop Blender VVIZ export for you, we are happy to answer questions and assist in any way that we can.   https://finale3d.com/documentation/vviz-file-format/

In VDL, a “tail” is the rising effect that is attached to a shell. By contrast, a “trail” refers to the sparks that are left behind by a star as it flies through the air.   To make a star’s spark trail longer, try one of these VDL effect adjustment terms: Slightly Long Trail Long Trail Very Long Trail   For example, to make a blue comet with a very long gold trail of sparks, try this VDL: 30mm Blue Gold Very Long Trail Comet

You can temporarily hide positions using the search box in the positions window. To open the positions window, go to the Window menu on the main menu bar and select Positions window. For example, to hide the Tower, Wheel, and Liquid Fuel Mine positions, enter this expression into the positions window search box: position -= t + -w + -lfm   This search expression works by hiding any positions that contain “T” or “W” or “LFM” in their name.

I am happy to report that the issue is now resolved. If you try again, you should now find that the sync process works normally. If you have Finale 3D running, you can sync by going to File > Sync with network. Alternatively, if you have the software closed, you can simply launch Finale 3D and login to trigger the sync process.

I’ve another ask concerning an error with software and I don’t know how to resolve that… Could you help me ?   I’m sorry for the inconvenience. We are currently experiencing an issue with the sync functionality. We are investigating the issue, and we will get it resolved as quickly as possible. In the meantime, I recommend skipping the sync process at startup by selecting the Login offline option, as shown in the screenshot below. This will allow you to work normally with the exception that you will not be able to make changes to My Effects. However, since you most likely don’t need your My Effects collection to work on your PyroJam show, you should be okay. Any work you do on your show is saved to the show (.fin) file on your computer’s local hard drive. Show files are only saved on your computer, they are not backed up or saved to our servers.
