    Hi everybody, this is Alberto and I have been an loyal usser to finale and finale3D since it was created. I run a firm called Mariposa in Colombia which displays beautiful and syncronised firework shows all over Colombia and there where we are hired! We are manufacturers and the firm is more than 130 years old!! So we are very proud of keeping running this company nowadays. Thank you all to be part of Finale!

    Greetings from Michigan! My name is Amanda Walker, and I am a Hobbyist Pyro. I love to put on pyromusicals in my rural backyard for family and friends. I use COBRA Firing Systems, and while I mostly design in my head, Finale 3D has definitely opened up a world of possibilities. I am interested in designing bigger shows and possibly designing for professional displays. I loved that Pyro Jam gave me the opportunity to design for a much larger space than I would ever have access to, and a much bigger budget! I am always excited to learn from those more experienced than myself.

    Hello to all! Patrick here from Maryland.

     

    I’ve been in the professional display industry approaching 15 years now; licensed in MD and VA.

     

    I’ve been responsible for many facets of bringing shows to life that include administrative, logistics, inventory management, regulatory compliance, creative design, and executing a show onsite.

    Working through the creative process and designing shows is the part of the industry that I enjoy the most.

     

    Looking forward to using this community to connect with everyone as we all work to bring stories to life for audiences around the globe through the use of Finale3D and pyrotechnics!

    Good day everyone from Northern Alberta, Canada. My mane is James Wingerter, I have been shooting fireworks with the volunteer Fire Department in 2008 where we were walking around the site with a flare to hand fire each tube to know where we provide a full pyromusical thanks to Finale and Cobra.

    Hi Finale comunity,

    my name is Aleš Ham, I’m from Slovenia, I run small fireworks factory Hamex, and of course we are display operator, for more than 30 years. I’m using Finale3D, it helps me a lot, I simply convert a complex idea into a finale script and later on show into reality.

    Hello fellow pyros!  My name is Jeff and I have an addiction.   This is my second year using Finale3d (third year attempting a pyromusical) and all I can say is WOW this software is a game changer!  I only shoot 1x per year on the 4th but I am realizing that I should be using Finale3d more than that so I can better learn he program.  The support is fantastic however even in the “11th hour” of need.

    Hi, I’m Brad from Kentucky.  I’ve been a Finale Business user for quite a few years, for hobbyist shows.  Made the leap to Finale 3d recently.  It has been a bit of a learning curve, but it’s clear there is a lot of capability there.  Looking forward to learning the new software.

    Hello everybody! My name is Benjamin, and I work at a company called Multi FX in Denmark, which specializes in sfx and pyrotechnics. I’m the lead-designer, and quite new to Finale 3D. We’re have developed our own firing system, and are currently working on Silkeborg Regatta, which is 6 shows over the course of 4 days, with 1200-3000 cues per show.

    Hello Pyros:

     

    I’m Tom, from Indiana, USA.  Been obsessed with fireworks since I was a youngster, always helping to set them up and begging to light them at family gatherings.  Learned everything I need to know about firework safety from my dad and uncle – two brilliant engineers who studied risks and failures for a living.  “If it could happen…they had already thought of 3 ways to prevent it from happening.”

     

    I’ve setup and shot a few neighborhood shows, but we just bought 8 acres of flat land out in the middle of the counter where there aren’t many rules. Plenty of testing ground (after polite convos with the 2 neighbors) to build and test new things.

     

    My ultimate goal is simply to design pyromusicals for display companies to shoot.  I may get back into shooting, but if I do, it will be with Cobra equipment.

    Hola Everyone,

    My name is Jorge Márquez from Mexico, I have a company called Lux Pirotecnia (29 years). I must say I’m kind of old school pyromusicals design guy. I’m used to structure all the show in my mind before sitting and write the first line of code. But don’t get me wrong! I’m not against technology, my background is working on technology applied to solve problems and make life easier for users, etc. and I must say that Finale 3D version is the kind of tool I prefer, the one that lets me focus on what I’m doing and NOT to focus on how to do it!

    Hi All,

     

    I’ve been using Finale on and off for a couple of years, and have been lurking on the forums just as long. I’ve started quite a large and ambitious project, so I thought I would come out of hiding and introduce myself. I’m based in Vancouver, BC. I write and produce shows and attractions. Sometimes they have fireworks in them. I also work as a technician for the larger NYE, Canada Day and Halloween shows around town when they are actually happening.
