It looks like you have entered a high effect height and a low PFT.

Hi, I have followed along with the video between cobra and finale on setting up DMX.  My effects do not move and looks like colored gerbs..  When following along with the first simple task of making the flame units sweep “move to” 60 degrees it does not move at all.  Therefore, I cannot get any more creative if I cannot get past the first step.

I am struggling with creating 2 effects to match product! The first is a shell with a corkscrew tail. The second is flying fish. The effect that simulates looks nothing like my cakes! Is there some magic language I am missing?

I exported my effects in an .fdb file, but when my colleague opens it on Finale there is the same problem the bombs are good but the compacts are no longer good the effects are not good, however on my computer on Finale they are very good and I do not see where it can come from.   Good day   Noé

Hi Thomas, we will add “Jellyfish” as a VDL term as soon as we can. In the meantime, you can press Ctrl+G to create a new effect and using this description to create a jellyfish effect:   5″ Blue Peony Top Half w/ Bright Red Gold Palm Bottom Half w/ Silver Ring

Hi Thomas,   you can create an half and half effect with the following vdl term : 2″ White & Purple Half And Half   The jellyfish is  little bit harder. You need to creat two effects – a half and half and a polyp. then you must copy paste the polyp under over the second half. We know it’s very difficult to create this effect at the moment, even using the effect editor. We are working on a large project to improve effects right now, we will add the 1/4 shell pattern as soon as we can!
