Change max ematches per pin from one to X, where X is the maximum number of items you want on a single cue. Keep in mind there are limits depending on type of match , parallel or series wiring and power your using. h…Read More

I tried this https://app.screencast.com/RZEZm2LCiwxkm and I’m getting closer but it says I need 43 18m’s and with 15 36m’s I technically only have 30 18ms available. https://app.screencast.com/xRWhkgbVGrGNj
A follow up question as well. If I’m using 1 cue to shoot multiple effects at the same time it gives the group multiple cues, how do I…Read More

Thanks NEC, I’m in the Austin area in the hill country.
So a 36m will be C1 with Cues1-18 and C2 with Cues 1-18? Two channels for all 36 cues basically?
-
NEC replied to the topic Addressing Issue
So, a 36M is just 2 18M in the same physical enclosure and will ultimately be two channels each with cues 1-18. It looks like you have overlapping channel numbers between positions ex: C1 has 1 x 36M and R1 has 2 x 36M so this is 5 channels needed for that section and there is overlap in the starting module numbers. Change your addressing r…Read More

I’m having some issues with addressing a show. First time 🙂
I’m trying to address it with two 36’ms in some single positions and one 36m in others but it only goes to 18 cues switches modules and then gives errors.
I created this video to better explain:…Read More

Hi Pyro_331110000, welcome to the Finale 3D community! To customize your display name, location, and profile picture, head over to your My Profile page.
It could be that your chained flights do have two or three shells, but that they are overlapping enough that they seem to only be a single shell in the simulation. Alternatively, it could be…Read More

Ultimate Fireworks replied to the topic Dymo 550 label printer
I have not been able to get the demo to print from the PDF at all, the only way I have found is to screen shot each label and then print each one as a picture.
When I try the PDF I just get a blank label and then the printer hands.

Whats up guys? First time post here and new to finale so go easy on me.
I work for a company that ties single shells into 2s and 3s.
I want to create and save a flight of 2 and flight of 3 in my effects for future use.
I tried creating and saving a chain of 2/3 but it only shows one shell going up in the visual.?
any advice would be appreciated!

PyroExec replied to the topic Strange Clicking Noise in Audio
Thanks.
I figured that it didn’t matter since the source MP3 is good and has no clicks. I have been scripting with the wav file so I don’t hear the clicks.

Hi PyroExec, thanks for posting. Sorry for the inconvenience, you’re not doing anything wrong, the audio artifacts are a Finale 3D bug. We’ve had this on our list for a while, but fixing the issue is a large project and we just haven’t been able to get to it yet.
The good news is that in the meantime, there’s an easy workaround that fully r…Read More

PyroExec started the topic Strange Clicking Noise in Audio
I have my audio formatted correctly and when I use an MP3 it adds a strange static clicking noise in a few spots. If I use a wav file the strange clicking is gone.
If I play the MP3 outside of Finale it does not have the strange noises at all.
Can anyone help with this? I made a video so you can see https://app.screencast.com/10NFpoJZ9UFZG…

I think this was mentioned once before, figured I’d move it to the front of the line.
3DCONNEXTION Spacemouse support would be really nice. I already use it (Spacemouse PRO) for CAD work and it’s a huge time save moving around in space and, in the case of the PRO, definable shortcut buttons for hot-keys and macros. Unfortunately I’m not a…Read More
