Hi Matt Loreto, the only confirmation is the message displayed directly on the competition submission page. We will contact you if we have any trouble with the WeTransfer link or your show file.

I'm not sure if this was previously answered. I just submitted my show is there a confirmation that it was submitted correctly and obtained on your end? Thank you Matt

There's no reason you can't populate the Available column in Per-show effects, but it's not linked to the Available column in My Effects because it's just not meant to work that way. The Available column in My Effects is meant to represent the total quantities available for all shows, whereas Per-show effects only represents the products used in the show that is currently open. You're welcome to use the columns however you like, I'm just not sure why you would need the available quantities duplicated in two places.   If the quantities you're entering are for a single show, then there is another column specially for this situation, it's called "Quota". While the Available column in My Effects is meant to represent all quantities available for all shows, the Quota column is specifically meant to store the quantities for a specific show. For this reason, the Quota column can only be edited in Per-show effects, and the values are automatically displayed in the Quota column in My Effects. If you change a quota in Per-show effects, it changes in MY efforts. Quotas can by typed, or you can import them from a spreadsheet with two columns (Part Number and Quantity).

Hi Engineer Cat, the 'Next' column displays the time from any script line's Effect Time of the next script line's Effect Time. If Next is blank, it means that nothing else is next. If you delete lines of script, you'll change what comes next and the values will change accordingly. Your screenshots show that your script is sorted by Event Time. Since the Next vales are based on Effect Time, try sorting your script by Effect Time and I think you'll find the values will make more sense. Moreover, unless there is a specific reason you need the next column, you can just disregard it or hide the column altogether. The column exists simply because users asked for a column that tells how long before the "next" thing is going to happen in a show.

I've run into another issue that I don't understand. In the script it shows nothing in the NEXT space. So if I delete it, it removes more times from the NEXT space. Why is this?     Then this happens.

Engineer Cat wrote: I think I answered my own question. I deleted the effect from the script and my price dropped by the amount the effect cost.. Not sure why its showing 0 though. I do have the two chain options check marked in the user settings.     Here's the answer from a bit earlier in this thread: https://finale3d.com/groups/english/forum/topic/pyrojam-2023-official-discussion-topic/page/2/#post-1455338   You mentioned the chain settings -those are unrelated to the set piece and wheel "macros". But it might be worth mentioning that both chain settings shouldn't be "checked". See: https://finale3d.com/contests/pyrojam-2023/#show-budget

So while auditing product positions I came across this and wondering if this isn't counted in my total cost.   It shows the product in my script and shoots it in the design window but USED shows 0.

I updated the quantities of items I have "Available" in "My Effects". When I am on the "Per-show" effects page it doesn't show the correct number of "Available" effects. I am wanting to see the updated quantities of my inventory reflected when I'm on either of the effects pages. Right now it is still showing I'm short on effects on the "Per-show" page because the "Available" quantity is still showing zero. I just assumed it would be consistent without having to manually change each item quantity on each page.

We've established in other threads that my computer sucks.  : )   If there is anything you ever need me to test, just let me know.   Thanks for getting it on the list.
